The Bright Lights of the Big City
Well, here is the information about Chicago. One weekend, Pj, Jackie, and I decided to go to Chicago because we wanted to see the Chicago Art Institute, like on Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It was a fucking blast! Here are some pictures from the journey:
Jackie drives while PJ types. Taken in Missouri (I'll be cold and dead in my grave before I recognise Missouri as a state).
Saturday: Driving down to downtown Chicago. Texas plates in a Mazda Protégé in Chicago traffic. Crazy combinations.
View of the Sears Tower from in front of the Field Museum.
Photograph of a painting by Willem De Cooing. The only reason I know who this person is, is because he's in a Manics song.
Here we begin Route 66, which is right outside the Bennigans in which we ate.
The picture that I sent to my Dad to let him guess where I was that particular weekend. Funny thing about this picture, look at the one below it. You will notice that PJ and Jackie are wearing coats. the Puma Man did not bring a coat, and therefore received windburn and was also hella cold throughout the day.
Jackie and PJ in the same place.
This is what PJ thinks of replica's of Buddhist art.
Sunday: The drive back. This is the view of the St. Louis arch from the Illinois side. It's actually quite impressive.
Can you believe that this picture was taken by Jackie in Oklahoma?! But, don't be fooled by this one picture, Oklahoma is a crap state.
And, just to prove that it was a great trip, we got the first parking space in Heaven.
So, as you can clearly see, the weekend jaunt up to Chicago was filled with fun. I suggest you all do it one weekend!
