The following skills will be taught to our students during the first half of the year. Parents working together with Mrs. Baird and I on these skills may see much success in their children's achievements.

Sort objects
Use words indicating relationships - top, bottom, inside, outside, in
front of
Indicate groups that have more, fewer, most, least, and same amounts
Compare lengths
Construct and interpret graphs
Name and count coins - penny, nickel, dime, quarter
Model, act out, and use a picture to solve simple problems.
