I (We) acknowledge that the 'Rules Applying to Registration and Dog Shows" and the " Beagle Field Trial Rules� have been made available to me (us), and I am (we are) familiar with their contents. I (We) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary, and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim. and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death, or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage, or injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes.

I (We) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.

* In order to qualify for entry in this event, the hound must have either 1) earned AKC Championship points in field or show competition, or 2) be an entered hound from one of the NBC registered beagle packs, or 3) have earned points towards their title via placement in the top 4 finishers at ARHA/UKC/CKC events, leading to the achievement of an ARHA/UKC/CKC Champion title in the field or conformation. (Addendum/clarification - show points must have been earned with competition.) Final decision regarding qualification for entry of any individual hound shall be up to the Event Committee. PLEASE NOTE: All hounds *must* be AKC registered or entered in the NBC studbooks.

** Because hounds will be run in combined sex classes, bitches in estrus are ineligible to compete in this event. Should an entered bitch come into heat prior to the start of all competition at this event, the owner (or his agent) shall have the option of 1) substituting a "reserve" hound, named at the time of entry (provided notice of such substitution has been given no later than one half hour prior to the published starting time), or 2) not attending, and forfeiting the entry fee. All substitutions will be at the discretion of the Triple Challenge Committee.

No entry fee shall be refunded in the event that an entered hound is absent, disqualified, or deemed ineligible. No changes may be made in an entry after the published closing date, except for substitutions as outlined above. Pre-entry only.

Hounds must enter and complete all three phases of the competition at this event in order to be eligible for any awards. No awards will be given to a hound who fails to complete any individual phase of competition due to absence, disqualification, or excusal by the judge.

Evaluation and scoring of the hounds will be based upon the desirable and undesirable characteristics as put forth in the AKC "Beagle Field Trial Rules� and the beagle conformation standard. All AKC regulations pertaining to the eligibility of hounds and disqualification shall apply.
