A5: Well, Bryan does e-mail the fan club once in awhile to show his appreciation. However, we do not keep in touch with him on a daily basis as close friends, we are just very loyal fans of Bryan. Since Bryan has joined LMNT, we continue to support him and his music endeavors.

Q6. How did LMNT get together?

A6: When Mike Miller and Bryan Chan didn't make it to the final five, Mike was approached at the premier of "Making the Band" to have a different kind of group formed. Mike wasn't too sure and asked Bryan for advice. Bryan thought it was a great opportunity.

They moved to New York to find the other members of their group. Mike and Bryan are pretty tall, so they wanted to get a tall guy with talent. Finally, they found Matt Morrison. The group was almost complete, except they needed one more member. By then, Ikaika Kahoano had left the show and Bryan gave Ikaika a call to ask him if he was interested. Well, the next thing you know, Ikaika is packing his bags to New York. However, the group eventually decided to make Hoboken, New Jersey their home.

The nameless quartet didn't become LMNT until Teen People held a contest asking fans to name this new group. Lucky girl, Kristen, send in "element" and the guys decided to make it more unique and revised it to LMNT.

Fans waiting anxiously to hear the music and see performances of these guys. After a few months, LMNT managed to get together a mall tour, called "Rock 'N Shop", sponsored by Teen People. However, on the brink of the tour, Matt decided he missed Broadway too much and left the group. LMNT became a threesome and continued the summer tour.

It wasn't till high school grad, Jonas Persch, got called in to audition. The trio became a foursome again. Then in October/November of 2002, Ikaika decided to explore other venues and returned home to Hawaii. The foursome became a trio again and are now working as hard as ever to become the stars they are destined to be.
