The Troop 496 Summer Camp Webpage
For 21 years Troop 496 has been attending the Greater Pittsburgh Council's summer camp, Camp Heritage. Did I mention that Camp Heritage has only been around for 21 years? We walk 100 miles to get to camp and then have a few hours to relax. Not for long though, merit badge classes start the 2nd day and all the scout are hustling to get to class. Each scout takes at least 2 classes and more daring scouts take 6. Camp lasts one week and by the end of the week we are ready to go home. Not that we didn't enjoy the camp, but keep in mind that we walked 100 miles to get there.
