Using the BEAR book that is
specially designed for their age group with activities that will challenge
them. The Bear Scouts Work on earning the patch above. It is their third rank patch for their uniform, it is placed on the left breast pocket as
shown below. Because the program is a full year we also implement the
instant recognition pocket dangle shown below. This allows the scouts to
show their progress toward their rank badge.
The Bear activities are slightly more challenging than those covered last year as a Wolf.

| Below is the instant recognition badge. The red beads are used this year to show progress toward the Bear badge. The yellow beads from last year remain as a reminder of the hard work put forth to earn the Wolf badge. | The Bear badge will be affixed to the left pocket as shown below.
