Wolf Den Scouts are 8 years old or have finished the first grade. During the Wolf year, Scouts work toward completing 12 achievements involving simple physical and mental tasks. |

Using the WOLF book that is specially designed for their age group with activities that will challenge them. The Wolf Scouts Work on earning the patch above. It is their second rank patch for their uniform it is placed on the left breast pocket as shown below. Because the program is a full year we also implement the instant recognition pocket dangle shown below. This allows the scouts to show their progress toward their rank badge. |

Above is the instant recognition dangle. The yellow beards are to show progress toward the Wolf badge and are issued as instant recognition every time a Scout completes three of the achievements in his book. Next year red beads will be added to show progress toward the bear badge. | The rank badges for Bobcat and Wolf are attached to the left pocket as shown above. The top point of the Bobcat patch will line up with the pocket button and the Wolf will be placed as shown. Next year the Bear will be added opposite the Wolf and Then the Webelos patch at the bottom for form a complete diamond. |
