Blood Drive
On Friday, February 8, 2002, Troop 237 participated in a blood drive at Cherokee United Methodist Church. The blood drive was organized and coordinated by Alex for his Eagle Scout service project. Nearly all the boys in the troop helped in one way or another. A total of 18 units of blood were collected at the drive. Over 25 people showed up to donate, but a few were unable to because of the eligibility requirements of the American Red Cross who conducted the blood collection. Everyone had a good time and the project was a sucess.
