Switches In The Cellar
In the cellar there are three light switches in the OFF position.
Each switch controls 1 of 3 light bulbs on the floor above.
You may move any of the switches as many times as you wish.
However, you may only go upstairs to inspect the bulbs ONCE.
How can you tell which switch goes to which bulb with only one inspection?

Sorry... you may not use a string tied to the switches and pull them from upstairs.

HINT : Be one with the BULB, think about the BULB... it is the key!!!

ANSWER Turn ON the first switch for about 5 minutes or more, then turn it OFF.
Turn ON the second switch and go upstairs to inspect the bulbs.
The HOT bulb is controlled by the first switch.
The buld that is ON is controlled by the second switch.
And the COLD bulb that is OFF is controlled by the third switch.
