The Bullard High School Knights traveled to Edison High School to take on the Tigers in a non league match.

The team started off well as they jumped out to an early 6-2 lead.  Nikki Ciapponi then served up three straight points to help the team increase their lead to 9-2.  A nice block by Samantha Surface and suddenly the team had a commanding 12-4 lead.  The Tigers would never recover as the team went on to win by a final score of 15-6.

The team stayed hot in the second game as they jumped out to an early 6-0 lead.  But, the Tigers battled back to cut the lead to 6-4.  Then, with the score 7-5, a kill by Samantha Surface, to make the score 8-5, seemed to wake up the team as they went on a 7-1 run cruise to a  15-6 win.

The third game started off close.  Then, with the score 2-1, Dawn Davies served up four straight points to help the team increase their lead to 6-1.  But, the Tigers would fight back to cut the lead to 7-3.  The team then went on a run as Lauren Yamaoka served up four straight points and Julie Geissert serve up three straight points to help the team take a commanding 14-3 lead.  But, the Tigers would not quit and scored the next six straight points to cut the lead to 14-9.  Emily Barr then served up the last point to help the team to a 15-9 win.

Lauren Yamaoka (7 for 7) and Megan Peranick (7 for 7) led the way with a serving percentage of 1.00.  Nikki Ciapponi led the team with 13 service points followed by  Lauren Yamaoka and Dawn Davies each with 5 service points.  Nkiki Ciapponi led the team with 10 kills followed by Megan Rohel with 8 kills. Julie Geissert led the team with 12 digs followed by Lauren Yamaoka with 10 digs.
