The Bullard High Knights travel east, to take on the Clovis East Timberwolves in a non-conference match..

The first game started out in a close battle with scores of 3-1 and 5-2  Then, with the score 6-3, Maddie Morse served up seven straight points to give the team a 13-3 lead.  The Timberwolves would never recover as the team went on to win by a final score of 15-5.

The team got hot in the second game.  With the score 0-1, Julie Geissert and Nikki Ciapponi each served up three straight points to help the team take a 6-1 lead.  Then, with the  score 7-1, Emily Barr served up five straight points to help the team take a commanding 12-1 lead.  A nice shoot from Andrea Tom to Samantha Surface to force a side out  as Sarah Vargas finished off the Timberwolves by serving up the final three points  as the team cruised to a 15-1 win.

The team started off well in the third game as they jumped out to an early 2-1 lead.  But, the Timberwolves would score the next five points to take a 2-6 lead.  The team battled back to cut the lead to 5-6.  A nice block by Megan Roehl and suddenly the game was tied at 6-6.    But, that's when things fell apart as the Timberwolves would go on a 3-9 run to pull out a 9-15 win.

The team regrouped in the fourth game as Julie Geissert served up the first five points to give the team an early 5-0 lead.  The Timberwolves would battle back to make the score close at 7-5.  A kill by Nikki Ciapponi, a block by Julie Geissert and Megan Roehl, a kill by Sarah Vargas, and a service ace by Julie Geissert help the team to increase their lead to 11-6.  The Timberwolves would not go away.  With the score 14-8, the Timberwolves scored five straight points to cut the lead to 14-13.  But, Sarah Vargas would serve up the last points to help the team hold on for a 15-13 win.

Megan Peranick led the way with a serving percentage of 1.00 (11 for 11) followed by Emily Barr with a serving percentage of .95 (19 for 20).  Julie Geissert led the team with 14 service points followed by  Emily Barr with 12 service points.  Sarah Vargas led the team with 10 kills followed by Nikki Ciapponi with 7 kills. Sarah Vargas and Maddie Morse led the team with 6 digs each.
