The Bullard High Knights travel back to Clovis to take on the Clovis High Cougars in their last non-conference match.

The team did not start off well in the first game as the Cougars came out on fire jumping out to an early 0-8 lead.  The team finally got on the scoreboard with a kill by Nikki Ciapponi to make the score 1-8.  That was the highlight of the game as the Cougars went on for a 3-15 win.

The team started out better in the second game.  With the score 2-1, Megan Peranick served up three straight points to help the team increase their lead to 5-1.  A nice shoot by Samantha Surface to force a side out, a block by Samantha Surface and Julie Geissert, a kill by Nikki Ciapponi  and suddenly the team had a commanding 7-1 lead.  Then, with the score 8-2, Nikki Ciapponi served up another three points and the team had a 11-2 lead.  But, that's when things fell apart.  The Cougars would score the next nine points to tie the score at 11-11.  A close battle followed with scores of 12-12 and 13-13.   But, the Cougars would score the next two points to pull out a 13-15 come from behind win.

The Cougars kept the pressure on in the third game as they jumped out to an early 0-2 lead.  The team would battle back.  Nikki Ciapponi would serve up three straight points to help the team take a 3-2 lead.  A kill by Lauren Yamaoka, a kill by Samantha Surface, a block by Samantha Surface, and a service ace by Megan Peranick gave the team a nice 7-2 lead. But, the Cougars would not quit and battled back to score the next eleven straight points to take a commanding 7-13 lead.  The team tried to battled back but fell by a final score of 7-15.

Nikki Ciapponi led the way with a serving percentage of .94 (15 for 16) followed by Megan Peranick with a serving percentage of .91 (10 for 11).  Nikki Ciapponi led the team with 10 service points followed by  Megan Peranick with 7 service points.  Nikki Ciapponi led the team with 6 kills followed by Sarah Vargas and Samantha Surface each with 4 kills. Emily Barr led the team with 8 digs followed by Alex Cogdill with 6 digs.
