The Clovis West Golden Eagles come to the North Gym to battle it out with the Knights.

The team started off well in the first game.  A Golden Eagle error, a kill by Sarah Vargas, and a kill by Megan Roehl helped the team take an early 3-0 lead.  But, the Golden Eagles would explode for six straight points and then five straight points to take a commanding 3-11 lead.  The team did not quit.  With the score 3-14, Julie Geissert served up five straight points to cut the lead to 8-14.  But, the Golden Eagles would score the last point to win by a final score of 8-15.

The second game started out in a close battle with scores of 2-2 and 4-5.  But, with the score 4-7, The Golden Eagles would score five straight points to increase their lead to 4-12.  The team played hard, but fell by a final score of 6-15.

The third game started out in another battle with scores of 0-1 and 1-3.  But, with the score 2-3. the Golden Eagles exploded for eight straight points to take a commanding 2-11 lead.  The team would battle back.  Two Golden Eagle errors and two kills by Nikki Ciapponi would help the team cut the lead to 6-11.  But, that was as close as it would get as the Golden Eagles would hold on for a 8-15 win.

Julie Geissert led the way with a serving percentage of 1.00 (14 for 14) followed by Andrea Tom also,  with a serving percentage of 1.00 (10 for 10).  Julie Geissert led the team with 9 service points followed by Andrea Tom with 5 service points.  Julie Geissert led the team with 8 kills followed by Nikki Ciapponi with 6 kills. Andrea Tom led the team with 9 digs followed by Nikki Ciapponi with 7 digs.
