The Buchanan High Bears invade the North Gym to take on the Knights.

The team didn't start off well in the first game as the Bears jumped out to an early 0-4 and then a 0-6 lead.  Andrea Tom came in to serve up a point to give the team it's first point of the game and make the score 1-6.  Then, Alex Cogdill served up two straight points to help the team cut the lead to 3-6.  But, that was as close as it would get as the Bears would go on a 0-9 run to win by a final score of 3-15.

The second game started out in a close battle with scores of 0-1, 1-3, and 3-4.  A nice kill by Samantha Surface would help the team force a side out and hold the Bears to a 3-5 lead.  But, the Bears would explode for seven straight points to increase their lead to 3-12.  The team did not quit and tried to fight back.  A kill by Lauren Yamaoka and a service point by Julie Geissert made the score 5-12.  But, the Bears would score the next three points to win by a final score of 5-15.

The team got off to another slow start in third game as the Bears jumped out to an early 0-3 and then a 0-9 lead.  A service ace by Nikki Ciapponi would finally put the team on the scoreboard and made the score 1-9.  Alex Cogdill then served up five straight point to help the team cut the lead to 6-9.  A close battle followed with scores of 7-12, 8-12, and 9-13.  But, with the score 11-14, the Bears would score the last point to hold on for a 11-15 win..

Julie Geissert led the way with a serving percentage of 1.00 (9 for 9) followed by Taylor Jerri also,  with a serving percentage of 1.00 (7 for 7).  Alex Cogdill led the team with 7 service points followed by Julie Geissert and Nikki Ciapponi each with 3 service points.  Julie Geissert led the team with 6 kills followed by Nikki Ciapponi and Lauren Yamaoka each with 4 kills. Julie Geissert led the team with 10 digs followed by Nikki Ciapponi with 4 digs.
