Bullard High @ Central High

The Bullard High School Knights traveled to Central High School to take on the Grizzlies in a non league match.

The first game started out in a close battle.  Then, with the score 16-13, Alicia Pardini served up seven straight points to help the team increase their lead to 23-13.  The Girzzlies would never recover as the team went on for a 25-16 win.

The team stayed hot in the second game.  With the score tied at 1-1, Julie Geissert served up seven straight points (three nice jump serves) to help the team take a commanding 8-1 lead.  Four straight service points from Taylor Jerri and the team had a 18-5 lead.  The Grizzlies just fell apart as the team went on for a 25-8 win.

Things were a little different in the third game as the Grizzlies would battle back.  The teams would battle to a 11-11 tie.  But, the Grizzlies would go on a 4-10 run to take a 15-21 lead.  The team would fight back.  With the score 18-23, Avreeta Singh would serve up three straight points to cut the lead to 21-23.  But, that was as close as it would get as the Grizzlies would score the last two points to win by a final score of 21-25.

The fourth game started out close.  Then, with the score 5-2, Alicia Pardini would serve up five straight points to help the team increase their lead to 10-2.  Christine Noll then, served up six straight point and suddenly the team had a commanding 17-5 lead.  The Grizzlies tried to battle back.  But, with the score 24-12, the team would force a sideout to win by a final score of 25-12.
