The team started out well in the first game. A kill by Dawn Davies, a kill by Samantha Surface and a service ace by Avreeta Singh gave the team an early 3-1 lead. But, the Coyotes would battle back to cut the lead to 4-3 and then tie the score at 6-6. A battle followed with scores of 8-10, 9-12, 12-13, 14-16, and 15-18. Then, with the score 16-21, a nice block by Emily Barr would help the team cut the lead to 17-21. But, the Coyotes would play hard to score another two points to increase their lead to 17-23. The team would force a side out and Alicia Pardini would serve up three straight points to make the score close at 21-23. But, the Coyotes would score the last two points to hold on for a 21-25 win. The second game started much like the first as the team jumped out to an early 4-1 lead. Then, with the score 5-3, a block and a kill by Megan Roehl help the team increase their lead to 7-3. But, the Coyotes would battle back to tie the score at 9-9 and then at 14-14. A close battle followed with scores of 16-17, 19-21, 20-22, and 21-24. But, with the score 22-24, the Coyotes would score the last point to win by a final score of 22-25. The team started out hot in the third game. With the score 1-1, Avreeta Singh served up five straight points to help the team take a 6-1 lead. But, the Coyotes would not quit and battled back to cut the lead to 9-5 and then to 13-10. A battle followed with score of 15-13, 18-15, 19-16, 22-17, and 24-21. But, with the score 24-18, the Coyotes would battle back to cut the lead to 24-22. Then, a kill by Julie Geissert would help the team hang on for a 25-22 win. The team stayed hot in the fourth game. Avreeta Singh would serve up seven straight points (with help from Samantha Surface and Christine Noll, a big block) to give the team an early 7-0 lead. Then, with the score 8-2, Julie Geissert served up five straight points to help the team take a commanding 13-2 lead. Megan Peranick came in to help and served up four straight points to help the team increase their led to 19-4. The team would then go on a 6-1 run to cruse to a 25-5 win. The team did not start off well in the fifth game as the Coyotes jumped out to an early 0-4 lead. The team would battle back to cut the lead to 3-6 and then to 7-8. Then, with the score 8-9, two kills by Christine Noll would help the team take their first lead at 11-9. But, the Coyotes would battle back to keep the score close at 11-10. Then, with the score 14-12, team would then force a side out to pull out a 15-12 win. Good job team!
