The Redwood High Rangers invade the North Gym for the first round of the CIF Playoffs.

The first game started out close with scores of 2-0, 3-1, and 5-2.  Then, with the score 6-4, Christine Noll served up three straight points to help the team increase their lead to 9-4.  The Rangers battled back to cut the lead to 12-6 and then to 15-8.  Then, with the score 16-10, Julie Geissert served up five straight points to make the score 21-10.  The Ranger tried to fight back and cut the lead to 24-14.  Then, with the score 24-16, a block by Samantha Surface and Avreeta Singh would help the team to a 25-16 win.

The team started out well in the second game as they jumped out to an early 5-2 and then a 9-5 lead.  Then, with the score 10-5, the team would go on a 8-2 run (three service points by Samantha Surface and four service points by Avreeta Singh) to take a commanding 18-7 lead.  But, the Rangers would not quit and battled back to cut the lead to 21-10 and then to 23-16.  Then, with the score 24-17, a nice kill by Megan Roehl would help the team to a 25-17 win.

The team started out hot in the third game as the team jumped out to an early 6-1 lead.  But, the Rangers would battle back to cut the lead to 9-3 and then to 12-9.  Then, with the score 13-10, Samantha Surface would serve up seven straight points to help the team to increase their lead to 20-10.  The Rangers would not quit and battled back to cut the lead to 21-12 and then to 23-13.  Then, with the score 24-15, a block by Samantha Surface and Christine Noll would help the team to a 25-15 win.
