THE HAUNTED
MANSION "Part 5"
Now the Masters, Ninjara, Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michaelangelo find
themselves witnessing a bizzare-shocking moment no living mortal has ever saw!
APRIL
O'NEIL
A party was taking place, one of the strangest parties you've ever
seen. There was a long dining table covered with decayed food and wilted
flowers, spider webs hung everywhere. It seemed to be a birthday party
and when a birthday ghost blew out the candles on a cake several other ghosts
disappeared. They reappeared to applaud the guest of honor for
extinguishing the candles in one breath. There was an elderly lady
rocking and knitting beside a fireplace and when she rocked forward she
disappeared. When she rocked back, she too reappeared.
NINJARA
This is crazy; I don't believe what I see.
MICHAELANGELO
No kidding, vixen. I've never heard of ghosts celebrating birthday
parties.
HAKIM
ALSTON
Look at the way they vanish and reappear again like magic.
RAPHAEL
Well, we couldn't do that if we tried.
LEONARDO
That's because we're not ghosts, stupid.
RAPHAEL
Hah, I knew that, stupid.
ERIC BETTS
Easy, you two.
CASEY JONES
The party ghosts seated around the table wearing various costumes are
carrying on friendly conversation or laughing merrily while sipping wine.
Several other ghosts were playing on the chandelier over the dining table
ranging from 2 drunken spirits sitting side-by-side with arms around one
another and either talking or laughing while holding glasses of wine in their
other hands. Behind them was another party ghost swinging off or dangling
off the edge of the light fixture pretending to be Tarzan.
HERB PEREZ
Check out those ghosts up there on the chandelier.
DONATELLO
Oh, no. They'll get hurt if they clown around like that.
HERB PEREZ
Relax, Donnie. Ghosts don't feel pain because they're already dead.
DONATELLO
Heh-heh-heh...of course not.
MIKE
BERNARDO
Yo, more ghosts having fun yonder.
SPLINTER
He is referring to 6 couples dancing or waltzing in circles about the
ballroom, passing through tables & overstuffed chairs & sofas without
bumping or tripping over them. A grinning organist is pounding out a
weird kind of music on a pipe organ against the far wall.
NINJARA
Look at the way they pass through the furniture without touching them, we
couldn't do that ourselves.
RAPHAEL
Yeah, but they know how to dance.
HOSUNG PAK
Like Cinderella at the ball dancing with the Prince before the stroke of
midnight.
MICHAELANGELO
Which probably is not far away, dude.
HOYUNG PAK
What was that? I heard a loud bang or gunshot.
LEONARDO
I heard it too, but where did it come from? <Looks around for the source>
HEIN NGUYEN
I believe that answers your question? <Points>
LEONARDO
Huh? <Looks in direction Tsunami pointed> What-the?!
EVERYBODY
HUUUUUUUH?! <Eyes wide in shock>
APRIL
O'NEIL
What the friends saw was 2 paintings of gentlemen facing back-to-back and
holding revolvers or pistols in the salute posture. Suddenly, without
warning their ghosts emerge or materialize from the portraits, face each other,
aim their guns at one another and pull the triggers at the same time that
causes the loud report of gunshots to be heard before disappearing again.
HOYUNG PAK
Did you see that? Ghosts came out of those paintings and shot each other.
HEIN NGUYEN
Like the chivalry gentleman duels of long ago.
LEONARDO
Wow, hey! There they go again.
DONATELLO
Incredible! Re-enacting a duel over a grudge feud, lady, or whatever.
NINJARA
I hope not over me! <Then she changes the subject> Have we found that
EXIT yet?
EVERYBODY
YEAH?! HAVE WE FOUND IT?
CHRIS
CASAMASSA
Hey, here's another door at the other end of the balcony. Come on.
CASEY JONES
One by one the gang ran across the balcony not even looking at the ghostly
scene below them anymore and through the open door with no clue whatsoever of
what they will encounter next of the supernatural.
