As we approach a new year
we make resolutions,
we celebrate putting the past behind us
and we look to a healthy, happy, prosperous year ahead.
New Year's Eve is usually a time of reflection
and a time of resolution.
We reflect back on past years
and realize that everything that happens in our life
happens for a purpose - sometimes we just find it difficult to figure out why.
The Year 2000 has always stood for the future and what we shall make of it.
Soon that moment will be here, a crossroads between the dream and reality.
A time of excitement, curiosity, hope, uncertainty, optimism
and awe. A time for reflection.
This new year's eve, ask yourself a few simple questions:
Where have you been? Where are you now? Where do you want to be tomorrow?
What do you seek to accomplish... for yourself, your friends and family, and the world.
The year 2000 represents a new beginning for each of us.
What will you make of it?

Today Is Mine
"Today is mine. It is unique.
Nobody in the world has one exactly like it.
It holds the sum of all my past experiences
and all my future potential.
I can fill it with joyous moments or ruin it with fruitless worry.
If painful recollections of the past come into my mind,
or frightening thoughts of the future, I can put them away.
They cannot spoil today for me."
