Air-Mech-Strike (AMS) Background

• The Air-Mech-Strike Study Group is a non-profit, non-government academic study group dedicated to improving America’s Defense by developing 3-Dimensional Land Warfare Concepts for consideration by our Nation’s Military and Elected leadership. Members are volunteers from Active, Reserve, National Guard, and Retired service members along with interested academics and professionals.

• • The AMS concept is the projection of protected mechanized forces by Air-Land, Para-drop and helicopter insertion from both internal and external loads. This full-dimensional maneuver concept emphasizes air transportability to break friction with terrain and obstacles, and insert maneuverable forces to quickly gain positional advantage to achieve decisive maneuver
