2004 Dentonia Open Results

Weather and course conditions were perfect on Thursday, June 3.   Inspired by his 25th wedding anniversary the day before, Bill pulled away in the middle holes en route to his sixth straight victory.   Geoff's putter was red hot, and while his closing three-foot birdie putt was not quite enough to pull him into a tie with Bernie, it was enough to give him a new personal back nine record (34) and his best score since 1987.  Bernie was solid, but couldn't get the flat stick going; perhaps he was tired from campaigning door-to-door for Ken Dryden for the June 28th federal election.   John was victimized by two holes with multiple river balls, and his front nine tied the tournament high.
