What is it? E-business is an new type of business that has been developed a lot in the last 10 years. Multi-million dollar companies can sell products without even having sales clerks to give services. Companies no longer have to do monthly inventory counts. Computers now will keep running totals of products in the store and order new parts if quantity runs low. People access bank accounts and transfer money. A big issue with this type of business is security. All business sites and confidential sites have encryptian codes. These are layers of numbers that give possibilites to the password. If hundreds of computers running full speed tried to unlock the code it would take the hundreds of years! |
