The program doesn't need to be installed, just save the file wherever you'd like it to be and fire it up! If you tell SheepWatcher to save your settings then an INI file will be created in the directory where you've saved the program, so you might not want to run it from your desktop if you mind the extra clutter. If you don't choose to save an INI file, it will default to a not-on-top 640x480 window, and Electric Sheep won't start when SheepWatcher starts (press CTRL+S to start it). By default the program looks for electric sheep in C:\WINDOWS\System32\ElectricSheep.scr. If you change the path, remember to write your settings to disk, or you'll be asked to find the file again the next time you run SheepWatcher.
I'm trying not to continually update it but so far that's not working very well, so the version that's linked below may change without notice. If something big happens I'll note it here, but tiny bug fixes won't be announced.

An installer is also now available for the program. It includes some of the extra files that might not be on all systems. If the version above says you're missing a file, try this. If you've used the setup program to install a previous version and you want to upgrade, you can just overwrite the .exe file with the small download above. Otherwise I'd recommend uninstalling thru Add/Remove Programs before running this setup again.

There's also a beta version available temporarily. If you're feeling brave, help yourself. I'm running it now, but it's definitely subject to change. The beta can minimize to taskbar and render to the windows desktop. NOTE: Switching to and from desktop rendering mode restarts Electric Sheep, so any work it's doing may be reset.
