Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!

If it seems like it has been a while since you last attended a CCCC meeting, you might be right since the last meeting was before Thanksgiving. On January 16th we will meet, after having a winter break in December.

Speaking of December, I managed to get a few Commodore goodies this year. The eagerly awaited C64DTV hit my doorstep in December, and of course I had to play with it before Christmas arrived. I also received a few CDs of Commodore related materials, from Videocam's Commodore Central Market.

I decided to get the newest FTP file collection which also included the GEnie, Compuserve, and Baker Street files. Announced just in time for Christmas, the ReRun Compendium. That should keep me busy browsing thru all those files for a while.

I was in the state of Virginia in early December for work related activities. I managed to pick up a copy of a magazine that has continued to elude me from finding it here in greater Cincinnati. Retro Gamer magazine is a publication of Live Publishing from the UK. I will bring issue #8 to the meeting for all to thumb thru.

For those that missed the C64DTV unveiling on QVC the day after Thanksgiving, we will have a short showing on how they presented the latest addition to the Commodore nameplate. If we have time, maybe demo a few games on the C64DTV and show some of the Easter Eggs hidden within.
