Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!

On Saturday, October 8th, your club had an inventory of it's equipment for sale which was located at our Vice President's residence. In attendance were Roger Hoyer, Jim Oaks, Ed Gase, Carl Menne, of course Steve Winkle was there, and myself. At 10:30 a short speech was presented indicating the direction of what was to be accomplished during the day.

At nearly 12:30, we broke for lunch. The grill was fired up, and prepared were typical cookout goodies as hot dogs, hamburgers, bratwursts, and mettwursts. Everyone seemed to have their fill and then the dessert was unveiled....kitty litter box cake!

You had to see it to believe it. A blue litter box was unwrapped, and all gazed upon the "creation", some wondered what that brown thing was hanging over the edge of the pan. A question wondering if I owned cats popped up during the general laughter.

I have to thank Lord Ronin of A.C.U.G from Astoria Oregon. It was his suggestion during a discussion in #c64friends chat room, that a special celebration should happen during our inventory party. The recipe should be found in this month's newletter.

At 2pm, the inventory continued and started winding down shortly after 4pm. The assorted equipment that was decided to be removed from our inventory was divided up by the inventory crew. Everyone returned back their own paths home, and I know I was tired from the busy work day. I wish to thank the above mentioned folks who showed up in support of the inventory. Job well done, guys.

See you at our next meeting at the Norwood Retirement Community on October16th. Keep on Commodoring!
