Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!

This month we will be meeting again at the Cincinnati Public Library in downtown Cincinnati. Hope to see you visit us there this month.

Next month we will be meeting at a different location. I do not have the exact address and directions yet, but I've been in contact with Steve Bond who has been helpful in coordinating our meeting location. The name of the place is Wind Withers located just off Route 28 and I-275 at Milford. I hope to hop in my car before then to take some time to go visit this place. I am assured it will be open to the public sometime during November.

I had hoped to see a review of the Chicago Expo written by someone who actually remembers it all in detail. But unfortunately that hasn't happened yet. I couldn't write such an article as I was so busy during the afternoon of the Expo with Jeri Ellsworth at our mutual table we had. I was swapping chips and ROMs in my C-1 running tests and diagnostics for most of the middle afternoon. Consequently I missed most of everything that happened after lunch. If you care to see what articles have been written so far, go to http://www.swrapexpo.org and from there you'll see 4 different perspectives of the expo from attendees, articles as well as photos. I understand Robert Bernardo videotaped most of the Expo, and will be coordinating copies soon.

For those who missed September's demo of GoDot, I will not be continuing the demo from the COPS mailing list, as they have not posted lesson #2 as of this writing. If you need copies of the program, I will be bringing a copy or two to this month's meeting. So ask early, if you don't want to miss out. It was interesting watching Dale Sidebottom do a GoDot demo at the Chicago Expo. If only I could get my lesson to look that way! I know, I need to "practice" to make perfect.

Keep on Commodoring!
