Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!
For those who purchased a uIEC device from Jim Brain at our C=4
Expo this year, some exciting things have been brewing on that front
though the rest of this year. If you are thinking about getting one
of these products, you might want some additional information
regarding the testing of future functionality of the devices. You can
get that information at two places.
First is the uIEC mail list.

Going to this webpage is the first step to signing up to the mail
list. Since I joined it in late October, there has been a few dozen
emails, mostly concerning questions of the use of the device, a few
announcements of prepublic software have also been posted for those
wanting to expand the use of their device and help troubleshoot for
Jim as he adds more stuff to the growing list of requests he has had
for the device.
Information can also be found at the Petscii forum in the uHacking
forum found at:
http://jledger.proboards19.com/
When I was in Chicago for the ECCC expo, Jim updated my uIEC
device to the latest software, and corrected a minor pin issue on the
board itself. I initially thought I would be OK with a 2gb compact
flash card. Turns out I already have that card filed with Commodore
software to play with, and test the functionality of this device as
it goes forward in design.
See you at this month's meeting on November 16th at the retirement
center.
Keep on Commodoring!
