Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!

The first day of spring is just around the corner, and in less than a month from now CinciClassic will be held in Fairfield Ohio.

Some of you who were on the email that Roger sent out a few weeks back know this information already. Our "official" logos have been picked out, and will be displayed during CinciClassic on their website, and also on their official t-shirts. If you want one of these shirts, drop by CinciClassic to purchase yours direct. The winning logos are still on our website and will probably remain there until we decide to create new and different logos.

While I'm on the subject of CinciClassic, we could use some volunteers to man the table during the weekend. Admission is free, so you definitely can't beat that! Plus for those of you who have collections other than Commodore, you might find something to add to your collection there. Volunteers need not be there all day, but we do need to have someone at our tables during the show. Get with me at this month's meeting to sign up.

Speaking of volunteers, at last month's meeting, a discussion came up about the various Commodore expos happening this year. Everyone seems already sad that there will not be a Louisville LUCKI Expo this May. A few members brought up a suggestion that CCCC pick up the reigns and throw an expo either in May or June. If you have never been to an expo before, you probably aren't aware of the background tasks that are needed to successfully pull off a good expo. All these tasks require cooperation of volunteers and organizers willing to delegate the tasks to the best individuals. Did you notice that last sentence indicated more than one person (volunteers, individuals, organizers)?? That's right, it takes more than one or two people to pull this off, and in order to do it right, we need the backing of fellow members to do it right. A few individuals have already started lining up guest speakers in preparation that it will happen. I would like to hear that the club as a whole would like to put on a good show for the greater Commodore users of the world. If Louisville, Chicago, Las Vegas, Toronto, Okemos, and a host of other cities can do it, why shouldn't we give it a shot?

Two or three months might seem like short notice, but with everyone volunteering to help, it will be a piece of cake. Let me know if you can volunteer to help in some way, or would be willing to help support this venture. Come to our next meeting on March 19th at the Norwood Retirement Center and speak out your ideas, concerns, and support.

Keep on Commodoring!!
