Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!
At this month's meeting, the t-shirt design votes will be
officially tabulated and announced. If you haven't seen the
submissions, they will hopefully make it to our newsletter pages this
month for all to see.
I've been in contact with Willemiek Bijlenga, and again Commodore
will be sending us some items to display at our expo. Items were put
into the mail on March 6th and should be making it's way to Roger's
home within the month. As you read this, we are now under the two
month mark from the expo. Who is coming? The official list hasn't
started, but you can help add names to that list. If you have
contacts in the Commodore Community, now is the time to ask those
folks if they plan to come to our show. Point them to the promotional
website http://c4expo.org There they will be able to find all the
information they will need to help plan their visit. Within the last
month, many announcements have been posted on a variety of forums on
the internet. IF you regularly visit a forum and there is no
announcement of C=4 Expo, go ahead and post the information. I'm sure
there are a few that are still overlooked.
We have been talking about the expo for several months, but these
next few weeks are when the excitement will peak, leading up to the
Expo day itself! Can you volunteer that weekend? We need folks to man
the admission table, help set up equipment, and who knows what else?
Volunteers can be for a few hours to the entire weekend, if you plan
to stay that entire weekend. We are still in need of a movie
projection screen, someone to videotape the demos,
suggestions/donations for door prizes, just to name a few. If you can
provide any of these, let us know.
See you at our regular meeting on March 18th. Keep on Commodoring!
P.S. Despite the previous newsletter's claim, I am not
Ex-Commodore-Amiga Engineer class of '94....or if I was, I don't
remember that happening.
