Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!
Did you show up at our meeting place on the third Sunday this
month? Due to the Easter Holiday, we pushed our meeting date to the
4th Sunday, April 22. Hope to see you all there on that date!
Don't forget in a little more than one month from now is Memorial
Day, and in the Louisville Kentucky area that weekend is the
Commodore Expo. I would like to personally invite everyone in the
greater Cincinnati area to take part of this event. Bill Herd of
Commodore fame (lead CBM engineer who was responsible for the
development of the C128 and other projects) is planning on being
there, Jeri Ellsworth, and the lineup continues to grow. If you don't
want to drive by yourself, there has been suggestions that we can
carpool to Louisville (approximately a two hour drive from downtown
Cincinnati). For driving directions, see myself for directions on how
to get to the Holiday Inn Express in New Albany, Indiana.
Have you thought about being an officer of the Cincinnati
Commodore Computer Club? Nominations will be held this month. If you
have a special talent that you've been hiding, now is the time to
take advantage of it, and donate your services to your club. Several
officers have held more than one position, and I think we should
spread some of the responsibilty around. We don't want to overburden
those who are already past that point with duties they must perform.
Not sure you have the skills necessary to fulfill the position? Talk
it over with the officers who have had that position in the past. In
most cases, on the job training is not a problem, and it can be
learned in a snap.
