Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!
If you have been following the news lately, you already know that
the Hamilton County Library is going to be under a budget crunch the
last half of this year. Several ideas have been brought up, but one
of the ideas affects our meeting time. It is possible the Sunday
hours for the downtown library will be discontinued. The decision is
expected to be made during a meeting in June.
In the meantime, we can move our meetings to a different day, and
keep our library meeting location, or look for an alternative meeting
place, that is available on Sunday.
Typically we have our June meeting on the 4th Sunday, due to
Father's Day. If the library officials decide to end Sunday hours,
our meeting would be after that decision has been made, so we should
probably look for alternatives prior to June.
Keep your eyes open for a possible meeting spot, and let one of
the officers know so that we could contact the establishment. In the
meantime, we will be meeting April 17th at the downtown Cincinnati
Library. The May meeting will be postponed (due to the LUCKI Expo
that same weekend) until June.
See you at this month's meeting! Keep on Commodoring!
