Howdy Fellow Commodore Users!
Just a friendly reminder that this month's meeting will be the
election of officers for the 2004-2005 term. Nominations will still
be accepted up to the moment of voting, so if you have been itching
to have an office now is the time to make it known. Be sure to get
your vote in.
The time for the Expo in Louisville is getting closer at hand. The
announcements are pouring in to tempt those of you who are sitting on
the fence just waiting to hear a piece of news that makes you get up
out of your seat and take the trip to witness first hand the
excitement that is the Spring LUCKI Expo.
By the time you read this, the hotel will probably be booked up
for that weekend. Louisville is only 100 miles away from greater
Cincinnati, so even though a lot happens during the non-official
times, you will witness a lot during the official times, with plenty
of time to make the road trip. Maybe next year, you'll start planning
a little bit earlier for this show?
Last month, we had a quorum and decided to make changes in the
constitution we have been putting off for months. The changes
included:
Eliminating the single member status, since family members usually
participate in the club, this item of the constitution was
eliminated.
Minor wording changing the collection of dues by the Membership
Officer will now be handled by the Treasurer since the Treasurer
handles all monies.
Changing the definition of members and how many votes a household
is allowed(one to a maximum of two per household).
The changes were unanimously approved by all members present.
Be sure to join us this month and Keep Commodoring!
