Bell Director (Bentley Burnout) - Bell is absolutely thrilled to be directing this wonderful cast in this hilarious work by Allison McWood. This is Bell s second year with The Slaw, and shes loving it!  Bell most recently co-produced the New Ideas Festival 2007 for the Alumnae Theatre, and shes done a bunch of other stuff, too!
Nancy Bradshaw - Actor (Incompetent In Love) Nancy is thrilled to be back on stage again with the Slaw. She is best known for directing, including Cabbagetown favourites: Ring It, The Philadephia and Ferris Wheel. Nancy thanks Anne for the opportunity to channel her snotty bitch and Liam for his very competent incompetence. Thanks to both for their wonderfully competent hearts!
Shannon Butcher - Musician Shannon s most recent appearance with the Slaw Festival brought her to the stage as a broke and busking musician in Flat Busted. A staple of Toronto s jazz scene, she brings back the 1940s with the three part harmony group, Swing Rosie, while as a solo artist she gives pop tunes a jazz twist and standards a modern edge. Check out Shannon singing every Sunday afternoon at SOMA ( 703 Queen Street East ). For more details please visit www.shannonbutcher.com.
Rob Candy - Actor (Bentley Burnout) - Rob Candy is most often seen with classical company Alchemy Theatre, including Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra, Twelfth Night, and The Tempest. Other recent credits include Conscientia (Alumnae, New Ideas '07), Shakespeare's NHL (Upstart Crow, Fringe '05), and Overruled (Village Players, 2 Plays '05). For Cabbagetown, Rob was in Slaw Festival '02 and '06, and No Sweetheart Required '05.
Michelle Cote - Actor (Chew on This) - Michelle is really happy to be IN this year's show, having been a sound operator previously. Michelle has spent the better part of 13 years in community theatre (13 is that a coincidence? I think not) doing everything from acting to producing. During the day she is a high school teacher and loves her job! She's single, folks, and loves rainy days, puppies and Liam Doherty!
Liam Doherty - Actor (Incompetent in Love) - This is my lucky thirteenth year in the Cabbagetown Slaw. I look good for someone a little over 13. I have extensive and varied background on stage from theatre to stand-up. I have been in several Cabbagetown Shows and many other productions. Notably, I played Lord Goring in "An Ideal Husband" at the Village Playhouse. I hope you enjoy todays production.
Andrew Dundass - Stage Manager - Andrew is proud not to appear on stage with Cabbagetown, lending his back to crew work. He most recently didn't appear on stage in "Last Dance of the Dark Cloaked Avenger" with Beautiful Lie/Triple Take Productions. Love as always to Marilyn.
Elisabeth Feltaous - Actor (Less Is More Misrables) - This is Elisabeths fifth show she has done with the theatre company. She is thrilled to be performing in this silly show, and looks forward to seeing you all in the pub!!

Anne Harper Director ( Incompetent in Love) - Anne directed Film Noir and The Experiment in past years for the Slaw. She also directed Private Lives this year at the Village Playhouse and has directed for No Sweetheart Required for several years. She loves the challenge of new work. She is lucky to have such wonderful actors for Incompetent in Love and loves working with the Cabbagetown team.

Chris Irving - Actor (The Rub), Actor (Chew on This - Chris shredded last year in Bless Me Father For I Have Sneezed and the Penguin bit. At Slaw X, he was in the famous "stunt mango" play, The Pimp Hand of God. Most recently, he played Nick in an ACT-CO award-winning run of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? for East Side Players.

Dave Lapsley - Actor (Chew On This)There has been a three-year hiatus for Dave's head and the Slaw Festival to be in the same place at once. For those years while panicking finding shows, agents, writing TV scripts and generally stressing himself out, Dave's very happy to be back doing his acting staple: having fun.
Shira Leuchter - Actor (The Swearing Jar) - Shira is a graduate of the University of Guelph and the National Theatre School of Canada. Past credits include: Exit Eagle Eye (Weesageechak Festival, Native Earth), Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump (UnSpun Theatre) and Auto Show (Convergence Theatre Collective). In December 2006, she competed in her first Poetry Slam and won. She placed in the top 30 in the International World Poetry Slam in Vancouver in February 2007.

Julie Rush - Lighting Operator - Julie has been helping out Cabbagetown for nearly seven years. She can find lost scissors, fix cave walls, and she does a pretty mean powder puff of smoke. She also builds sets and stage-manages for The Bloor West Village Playhouse. She occasionally acts. Her most cherished role to date: the Center of the Universe.

Todd Schick - Sound Designer - Todd has been CTCs sound design guy for a few years now. Todd is now the "voice" for the Global Television Network. He also runs a successful home recording studio and web site (www.toddschick.com). He also specializes in voice critiques, coaching and producing voice-over demos for actors and others who are interested in getting into the field.
Kim Sprenger - Director (Less Is More Misrables), Co-Producer, Publicist, Stage Manager  - Kim just completed a theatre-laden winter/spring with two (count 'em - two!) major roles under her belt! Playing the neurotically charming Florence Unger in Encore Entertainment's "The Odd Couple - Female Version" forced Kim to run around hysterically for two hours on stage every night, leading to some welcome weight loss! This was followed, appropriately, by the ever-increasingly-unclothed role of Jacqueline in The Village Playhouse's "Don't Dress For Dinner". Now, after directing her brilliant cast in "Less Is More Miserables", Kim wears significantly more clothes as she tosses around set pieces backstage at the Slaw.
Christopher Stanton - Actor (The Swearing Jar) - Christopher recently appeared in UnSpun Theatres Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. As UnSpun's Co-Artistic Director, he has co-created such indie hits as Minotaur, and DONT WAKE ME. Basil Tamkei - Box Office Manager, Program Coordinator - Much to the chagrin of the rest of the CTC, Basil has been behind the scenes and in front of the house for a few years now. They simply cant get rid of him. His first CTC production was Sleeping Beauty in 2003. Since then he has put many more shows under his belt. Where he puts them, goodness knows! Hes so skinny!

Mary Claire Thompson Director (Chew on This), Audition Coordinator, Volunteer CoordinatorMC happily directed her lovely, talented and quite agile cast (who drank all her booze during rehearsals), for Slaw Lucky 13 - YOU GUYS RAWK!! She's been involved with Cabbagetown for too many years to count as writer, director, producer, performer, etc. MC has also worked with Alumnae, Scarborough Choral Society, Curtain Call and other local companies (including her own). A big shout out to David Ives!
Blake Thorne Director (The Rub), Actor (Bentley Burnout), Co-Producer, Lighting Designer, Fundraiser - Blake is a man of many talents and a real sweetheart of a guy. He sells program ads, collects overdue bills, drinks beer, hangs lights, installs stages and can barbeque shrimp and scallops like a bandit. He has produced, directed and acted in more shows than he cares to remember, and some he chooses to forget.
Lynn Zeelenberg - Actor (Bentley Burnout), Audition Host - Lynn last appeared in "Death To Dating" as a desperate, crazy woman. Previously, she was in "The Vodka Talking" as a desperate, crazy woman. Before that, she appeared in "Coffee, Black" as a desperate, crazy woman. Lynn is finally breaking free from typecasting by portraying a desperate, crazy woman...with an English accent!
