The idea of formation of Study Circles by WIRC has enthused the professionals to its various duties and responsibilities. There was a feeling growing amongst a large number of C.A’s. in Chembur area that opportunities should be taken to meet for study and discussion of the various complex problems that we face from time to time and to make and develop personal contacts. A group of young Chartered Accountants took up the mantle and got the Chembur Chartered Accountants Study Circle inaugurated by Shri Pankaj Ghadiali, then Chairman of WIRC, on Saturday 6th February, 1988.

During the last twelve years, many topics of mutual interest were discussed by the members. Sometime Group Leaders were from outside the Study Circle and some times our own members.

In addition the circle also organises Picnics and Annual Get-together with family members. There has been encouraging participation by WIRC Chairmen, Presidents and Vice Presidents of our Institute, Regional and Central Council members from time to time.

Our Study Circle is being adjudged as the best Study Circle continuously for last 8 years, i.e. since the very inception of the award, the credit for which goes to the Solid Foundation of our Study Circle and its Enthusiastic Convenors.
