OPEN RITUALS We of Caer Avalon usually hold rituals for the community during the Light half of the year. Those who attend enjoy the chance to be involved in a group celebration; singing, dancing, drumming and experiencing the Old Ways with others of like mind and spirit. Our rituals are orientated towards participation, and everyone that joins us has a chance to do something. Whether it be lighting a candle or making wishes into the river, we encourage everyone to take part. All the events are held outdoors, so we can take full advantage of the greenworld and the energy it provides. We honour the Gods with feet planted firmly on Mother Earth. Like the Celts of days past, we feast afterwards, sharing in the bounty of the land together. We feel that the Tribe should come together and celebrate the turning of the Wheel, to seek guidance and fulfillment, to sit quietly looking into the glow of the fire; to know peace, joy and reverance in the depths of head, heart and soul.
