We've incorporated this new link policy, because it became clear that while many people asked us to add a link to their web site, they did not place our link on their link pages.

Since Lories Net is a privately owned website, we do not have any external sources of money coming in to the site, therefore we must conserve our bandwidth for subjects which might return some favor to our site. Since pictures & articles are worthy site-subjects, they gain us a healthy flow of visitors, but unreciprocal links will draw visitors away from our site, with no reference back to our site.

We feel this policy is only fair, and feel that we have done quite a service to the other web sites, as we have posted their links for three + years, with many of them failing to return the favor. (Many Thanks to those who did!)

This decision has been made in the best interest of conserving our bandwidth, and not for other reasons.
