Bent (1997) Harrowing drama journeys from Berlin’s pre-WW2 gay scene to the horror of the concentration camps. A valuable eye-opener, but perhaps more suited to the stage (where it originated). Clive Owen and Lothaire Bluteau star; look out for appearances by Ian McKellen, Mick Jagger and Jude Law.
