A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) Set five years after part one, this sequel quite explicitly uses the murderous Freddy as a metaphor for the repressed sexuality of a young man who moves into the cursed address. While not very frightening, and a little tatty around the edges, this is surprisingly original, thoughtful and self-reliant for a horror series entry.
