taken from the george fan club:
we get in there, and as we're walking in, george sees me, and he waves. then i find a bunch of my friends, and i go over and talk to them....and then i realized that Christian Tanna was standing like, right in front of me! so i freaked out...
then i go over to where george's little booth thing is, so that i can give him his card. so i'm standing there, and all of a sudden, i notice that i'm standing right beside Jeff Martin, and he's about to leave. so before he left, i took a picture with him, and i got him to sign my autograph book.
so then, i go over to where george is, and i give him my card and he looked at me and said "aww..thank you so much!" and then, while i was standing there, Shwarma's sister and mother walk in and he goes "katie! that's Shwarma's sister and mother!" and he said something like he's gonna make shwarma's sister his girlfriend...and then he said some other stuff...but then he had to go back on the air. so i walked up to where IME were standing with my friends. i asked bruce if he remembered me, and he said he remembered my face...but couldn't place me...then i told him that i'm "phreaky kate" from the chat, and he's like "oh! yeah! i remember you!" and he signed my autograph book "U R PHREAKY" and i got a picture with him.
then i went over to Chris, and i have no idea WHAT i talked about with him at first (but he kept touching my arm!) and then he saw what Bruce wrote, and he's like "umm...what does that mean?!" and i told him that i'm phreaky kate on the chat and he's like "ooh! it all makes sense now!" so then we talked for a little bit, and then i left, and let him talk to some other people that were patiently waiting (ooh! that's a zoebliss song!) for him.
so then, for the next little while, i was just talking to my friends 'n stuff...and then we turned around, and looked out the windows, and we realized that Chris from See Spot Run was outside! so we decided not to go outside, that we would just wait for him to come inside...and soon enough, he was inside...
so, i went over to him and said "hey! you just signed my book a few weeks ago, but can you sign it again?" and he's like "oh, where did i meet you a few weeks ago?" and i said "canadian music week" and we talked a little about that, and he signed my book the exact same way "2 Katie" and then his signature...and i got another picture with him.
so then, scary bald headed pete was about to sing a song (ooh! scary pete had his "scary bald headed baby!" that baby is SO adorable!!) so i'm standing beside Chris, and Elise is behind me, so during the song, i turn back to elise and say "oh my god, i'm going to cry!" and Chris nudges me and says "i am too!"
so then, i finally muster up all my courage, and i go over to where george is standing (it is now almost the end of the show)...so i let a bunch of other people talk to him first. then he comes over to me and gives me a big hug. and he says something like "i want to thank you so much for the website, and for everything!" (it was so sweet!) and then i ask for a picture with him, and he says of course...so he puts both his arms like, all the way around me (eek!) and then i asked him to sign my book for me "before he got famous" and he's like "pfft! i'll never be famous!" so he signed my book, and he wrote the sweetest message. (i'm not gonna write it here!*L*) and then he was talking to my friends, but i wanted to finish my roll of film (i was on picture number 21) so i said "just keep on signing, i'm gonna finish my roll" so i just kept on snapping pictures of him...some of them he smiled for, others are just of him signing.
then at one point, Shwarma comes over to him and hugs him, and they're both about to start crying and it was SO sad! the whole time i was there, i had tears in my eyes..but especially at this point! (and DAMMIT! elise and lauren--you asked me enough times if i was gonna start to cry! you guys practically made me cry!) so then we were just basically standing around, talking to different people, and waiting for my aunt to show up...and so then a while later my aunt shows up and we're deciding we're gonna go for dinner, and as soon as we're just about decided, george is about to go out the door, and he says something to me like "i'll be right back" and i'm like "oh, we're about to leave now" and he's like "wait! hold on...i'll be back!" so then we waited around for a bit...and he walks back in, like 10 minutes later, and he walks over to me and he introduced me to his mom. he told his mom that i was the builder of the first GOOD website for him...and so she goes to me "hi katie" and i'm like "hi, umm...george's mom!" and it went on from there...it was very cool :) so then i said bye to george for one last time, and he said bye, and that he would keep in touch with me :) (yay!) and it was over :(
ooh...i forgot to tell you guys about bruce's tattoo thing...he was talking to elise about his tattoo on his arm, and then i was about to take a picture of him, but he stopped showing the tattoo...so i go to him "WAIT! can you do that again?!" so he did, and i took a picture of him with his tattoo...it should be very cool :)
