In the beginning....there was Brenley MacEachern. The young singer/songwriter was recording a solo album, when she contacted bassist Adrian Lawryshyn. The partnership proved to be successful, as both artists realized that their combined ideas resulted in an incredible sound.

In June of 1998, zoebliss released their first cd, 13 April. Their single "Wicked Ways" was picked up on many campus radio stations, and was included on Edge 102's New Rock Search 1998 cd. The duo toured extensively in support of the album, with drummer John Hall, percussionist Andrew Trigg , and guitarist Michael Rockwood.

With every show played, zoebliss received rave reviews, and a solid fan base. zoebliss has shared the stage with Tricky, K's Choice, the Wild Strawberries, and were invited to play Lilith Fair in Toronto, in 1999.

In March 2000, zoebliss released their latest cd, For The Beauty Of Ruins. With this cd, they have added a new musician to the lineup, violinist Lisa MacIsaac.
