This seems to be a favorite of everyone at this time of year.  But I want you to
know that Santa has a perfect record...he's never run over anyone during the his lifetime (and that's a mighty long time).  Now, not to say he hasn't had a close call....
I remember that time in 1805....when the elves got a little tipsy on happiness,
hot cocoa, and candy canes.  They had sneaked into the Stables and hooked up
4 of the reindeer and where about to take off when Santa came running out
of the house (in his red longjohns...now the sight of this is enough to have you
rolling on the ground laughing) and jumped into the back of the sleigh.  Well
I can tell you, that was quite a ride...Santa being tossed around like a sack
of potatoes hollering at the top of his lungs as the elves had the sleigh doing loop-de-loops in the sky over the Workshop.  When Santa was able to
get his footing and get the reins away from the elves he was having a
hard time finding a place to land.  You see all the !
other elves had come outside, due to all the shouting; and where on the
ground laughing so hard.  We where afraid that Santa would be hard
pressed not to accidently land on one of them.  But be reassured, he saved
the day.  Landed the sleigh on the rooftop of the stables.  Won't tell you
what happened to those 4 elves; just know that they are still under house
restriction (poor dears).

'Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer '

(Sorry, I just had sooooo many requests for this
one that I had to add it. Grandmas, be careful)

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog,
And we'd begged her not to go.
But she'd left her medication,
So she stumbled out the door into the snow.

When they found her Christmas mornin',
At the scene of the attack.
There were hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Now were all so proud of Grandpa,
He's been takin' this so well.
See him in there watchin' football,
Drinkin' beer and playin' cards with cousin Belle.

It's not Christmas without Grandma.
All the family's dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder:
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Now the goose is on the table
And the pudding made of fig.
And a blue and silver candle,
That would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.

I've warned all my friends and neighbours.
Better watch out for yourselves."
They should never give a license,
To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
Walkin' home from our house, Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Happy Holidays to everyone around the world.

'Angels We Have Heard On High'

Angels We Have Heard On High
Angels we have heard on high,
Sweetly singing o'er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains. Gloria...

Chorus:
Gloria, In Excelsius Deo

Shepherd why this jubilee,
Why your joyous strains prolong
What the gladsome tidings be,
Which inspire your heavenly song?

Come to Bethlehem and see,
Him whose birth the angels sing
Come adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord the newborn king.

See him in a manger laid,
Whom the choirs of angels praise
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
While our hearts in love we raise.

Happy Holidays to everyone around the world.

Twelve Days of Christmas

candelrose.....this gift came special delivery to the North Pole, addressed
to you.  There was no return address and the angel that delivered it had no
idea where it came from; just that she was told to get it to me as quickly
as possible so I could hand deliver it to you.

Thank you for the lovely card.  This assignment has been one of my best.  I
have enjoyed spoiling you and Russell so very much.

I'm sure your boyfriend will have no problem spoiling you guys.  Enjoy your
time together and the holiday seasons.
