Note on the authors
Joseph M. Gillman held an M. A. in Sociology and a Ph.D in
Economics. from Columbia University. He taught economics and
statistics and served as an economic analyst with the Federal
Government.
Etta C. Gillman did graduate work in psychology at
Columbia University and, for a number of years, served as
school psychologist in New York City.
Dr. Gillman is the author of The Falling Rate of Profit
(1957) and Prosperity in Crisis (1965).
