In the spring of 2003, our friend Debbie Fitzpatrick was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS),
better known as Lou Gherig's Disease. ALS is a progressive always fatal neuromuscular disease that leads to muscle weakness, paralysis and eventually death. There is no known cure for ALS and the disease is as devistating to the families of its victims as it is to the victims.

Debbie worked at Anna Jacques Hospital for 20 years helping others as an X-ray / CAT scan Technologist. Because of the progression of her disease she is no longer able to continue her work. She is a devoted wife and mother of four children, two of them now in college and the youngest in the fourth grade.

The medical expenses associated with treating those with ALS accumulate very quickly and become overwhelming. With that in mind, we have established an account in the name of the Fitzpatrick Family Benefit at the Provident Bank in Amesbury, MA to help relieve some of the financial pressure the family is now facing

On September 12, 2004  a "ROCK-N-BOWL"  Benefit  will be held at Leo's Super Bowl in Amesbury, MA.  We are asking merchants for their support (Gift / monetary donations, gift certificates) to help us in our efforts to raise money for the family. Any and all support will be greatly appreciated.
