Brief History Raised in a small Chinese village by a merchant family, Chunli was supposed to live a normal life in a normal home. However, when she witnessed the murder of her father by the criminal mastermind, Vega of Shadowloo, she vowed herself that one day she would have revenge on her father's death.

Dedicating her life to fighting crime, Chunli soon moved out of China and studied in places such as Singapore and the United States of America. Eventually, her intelligence and skill made her land in a job for the anti-narcotics division of Interpol, an international organization created to battle crime. During her stay, she crippled several operations of the Shadowloo, but she wasn't even close enough to realize her goal of destroying Vega. When Chunli heard about the Street Fighter tournament, of whom Vega is hosting, she immediately seized the opportunity and joined into the fray. Conditioning her body and mind, she enters into the world of brutal fighters and violent fighting.

In the end, she has only one goal in mind: to meet with her father's murderer and to destroy him in combat...
