Comments: Excellent web page.... Makes me homesick. Flew TBM's in Calif back in the late 60's and early 70's before moveing on to B-17's, C-119's, F7F's and S2's. Really miss the old iron. Now flying helicopters, Huey's now and moving up to the Skycrane this coming season. Really like your web page, good pictures. Bob Forbes

Comments: Flew as a gunner in US Navy in TBM-3Es from 1948-1950 off of the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Uss Midway. Good to see they are still being used in a productive manner. Emailing from my son's place. Please feel free to contact me with any questions/comments about the airframe. ROGER ECKENROTH

Comments: Well I finally get to sign the guest book. Funny that you don't have the option "married a TBM pilot" under your question How did you find me!!

Comments: Impressive site, I am amazed at how much info you managed to get together about a single WWII era fighter.

Comments: Great Stuff! Woody recommended your site. Five of FPL's TBMs have been repainted in Houlton, Maine. I flew the last one back to CYFC on December 5, 1996.

Comments: Good morning Marcy. Nice to see the old touch is still there. Shorty lives in Tim Hortons now, and all the rest are fine. What an amazing story about the pilot on Tanker 11. Still cannot believe how lucky a person can be. I understand, that after the cartwheeling crash, the first thing the pilot did, was to note his time down. Excellent! Transport must be proud. Seeya, keep up the good work. I have a feeling this is going to be a great site to visit again in the future. Best in 97. Regards, Woody.
