I have installed an EMI filter, moved box off
top of set, disconnected all phones on the one
line except one, phone company checked my phone
lines and said no interference on any lines
inside or outside, I get 3-5 interruptions in
3-6 hour periods online, sensitivity set at
low, med, or high no help, interruptions most
frequent during writing of e mail, I'm at my
wits end! Nothing helps!

# 10, I think it has everything to do with the house
wiring. Mine will falsify if outside wiring box
becomes wet (snow or rain). A slight spray of
WD-40 in box seems to help. I tried all the
adjustments, nada. Then again, MY interrupts
usually are at first attempts to go online,
then coolness. No problems since earlier Wendesday.

I have not experienced shut-downs enough to
worry about it. This problem has not been any

since it hit the market.

Even though I occasionally have problems
connecting to WebTV, and al connecting to
various sites, I still rate WebTV an excellent
product. Ican usually log-on during the day
time without any problem, it is usually in the
morning or eveninings that the system gets
clogged. That's one of the bonuses of being
retired.

I purchased WebTV to be "into the net". I sort
of expected most if not all of the things I
hear one is able to do with the internet, like
downloading video/audio.plating downloaded
games from places like the Sega site...
I'm a bit dissapointed that some of those
options are not accessible with the webtv
unit, but overall, I have to say that I'm
satisfied with webtv.

it a lot. Sony did not supply enough info.
Absolutely no info came with infra red remote.
I would know almost nothing if I had not found
the Andresens web page. More info did come
from webtv with the first update, but I found
it by accident. They did not tell me to look
at the instructions again. I found they had
been updated by accident showing a friend how
the system works.

No.l0 really haven't done anything to fix the
very infrequent call-waiting interruptions.
I've had this happen about 4-5 times in the

any more problems at that time.

#10. Seems like it depends on where the call
is coming from. A friend calls on cell phone
and call comes thru but at times when he calls
from home it doesn't trigger the interupt and
after 6-7 rings my message center answers the
call.

Does anyone have any idea why the price for WebTVs hasn't changed since

The price for Sonys and Philips Magnavox is still $329 wherever I go.
What gives? Isn't that price fixing?

I mainly wanted to get online so I would have
