2. I would like a PC. It will take me awhile to save for one.
3. I've been afraid to take it on the road
thinking I might jar something inside. I would
realy like my sister to see mine and then maybe
she would get one. My nephew is interested in
mine but has not seen it as yet. If I can
travel with it I can take it to my sisters home
and "kill two birds with one stone". I'd love
to do that because I LOVE MY WEB-TV!! You
haven't lived until you get a web-tv, that's
for sure!!!
TIP:You can always get on the net after 10pm. but
then I'm a night owl.

Webv has made me interested in computers,in
fact I have been looking at computer catalogs
and seeking all types of computer-related info
on the net...regarding the WebTV commercial, feel
it would be even more effective if it included
a quick defininition of what the NET
is, so that those who don't even know of its existance
can be aroused to inquire on the WebTV product.

Regarding Philips commercial:Poor, Like you really don't want to sell
it.
TIP: False disconnects? FIRST, the house wiring must
be clean, tight, and dry in the outside box.
Same inside house. No false disconnects here
anymore. Inspect & repair seems to be the
answer.

I would like to see a WebTV hosted forum where users
can post questions to them and get answers right
below the question by a WebTV rep. Open 24 hrs. This
forum need not post answerers to questions by other
users, only a WebTV rep could answer. In regard to
the Philips commercial, it is greatly lacking in the
way of attracting people to the resources of the
internet, or exploring the special features of WebTV
service. Also, I haven't seen any commercials by
Sony.

I'll be buying a PC soon, but the WebTV stays. Very
solid product, with better, more reliable access than
any other system, I've seen that runs on phone lines.
By the way, can we get a T-1 modem for this ?
Tip: To see what the ALT key does, write a letter and
try the keys while holding down the ALT key, See? you

(1.) Wold like to have WebTV WeCare send out
information when there is a new down load made, only
found Philips visualpix by reading WebTV guestbook
entries at Andresen's SIG page, same for the audio
upgrade etc.
Tip: Try cleaning your keyboard with compressed air
rather than some of the other suggestions that have
been made like WD-40, smoking too many of those funny
cigs!

If WebTV Network really cares, respond sooner than 2
weeks! Also suggest they give customer information on
local access numbers, so that people can make an
intelligent choice instead of being surprised with a
$200 long distance charge on their next phone bill
!!!
Tip: Don't email WebTV WeCare they rarely ever respond
to anything negative about their services. But then
again when reached by phone they rarely return your
call with an answer.

Regarding the call waiting
survey:
since adjusting sensitivity, and installing a surge
proector, I've had no power-offs and only 2-3 false
interrupts. I do know that if you have anonymous call
rejection on your lin (with caller ID) the line does
break when the call first hits, but your phone
doesn't ring. I believe this (could) explain the line
dropping out.
