I would realy like my sister to see mine and then maybe she would get one. My nephew is interested in mine but has not seen it as yet. If I can travel with it I can take it to my sisters home and "kill two birds with one stone". I'd love to do that because I LOVE MY WEB-TV!! You haven't lived until you get a web-tv, that's for sure!!!
TIP:You can always get on the net after 10pm. but then I'm a night owl.

Webv has made me interested in computers,in fact I have been looking at computer catalogs and seeking all types of computer-related info on the net...regarding the WebTV commercial, feel it would be even more effective if it included a quick defininition of what the NET is, so that those who don't even know of its existance can be aroused to inquire on the WebTV product.

TIP: False disconnects? FIRST, the house wiring must be clean, tight, and dry in the outside box. Same inside house. No false disconnects here anymore. Inspect & repair seems to be the answer.

This forum need not post answerers to questions by other users, only a WebTV rep could answer. In regard to the Philips commercial, it is greatly lacking in the way of attracting people to the resources of the internet, or exploring the special features of WebTV service. Also, I haven't seen any commercials by Sony.

I've taken my WebTV box to Florida twice now, no problem obtaining a toll free line, try doing that with your local Internet Service Provider. Also take box to work occasionally, don't get much work done, but the "boss" loves it.

Tip: If you own a Sony cam corder, the RFU adaptor might work on the WebTV unit, I have a TR400 cam corder, and the adaptor works fine.

If WebTV Network really cares, respond sooner than 2 weeks! Also suggest they give customer information on local access numbers, so that people can make an intelligent choice instead of being surprised with a $200 long distance charge on their next phone bill !!!
Tip: Don't email WebTV WeCare they rarely ever respond to anything negative about their services. But then again when reached by phone they rarely return your call with an answer.

since adjusting sensitivity, and installing a surge proector, I've had no power-offs and only 2-3 false interrupts. I do know that if you have anonymous call rejection on your lin (with caller ID) the line does break when the call first hits, but your phone doesn't ring. I believe this (could) explain the line dropping out.
