Re Q3: Use email for everthing, friends, family, work, listserve groups, anything I can.

Tip: OK - to explore some interesting places, when you get to a webpage you like, hit GOTO then 'show current' then backspace (delete key on Webtv keyboard) the last part of the address off and see where you are. Sometimes you get directories that have listings of all HTML pages and GIFS, etc. Like this: http://www.xxx.com/one/two then change to http://www.xxx.com/one - Gets interesting some times.

Re Q1: I won't buy one if it is more than 100$ which of course it will be. I could barely afford this.

Tip: Holding down the alt key while typing is fun and the edit key is really pointless.

Re Q2: Enjoy chat but system in chathouse is often too slow and many times difficult to get in.
Re Q4: Schedule has changed somewhat, but it is something I keep an eye on

Someone please tell me why system shuts off by itself when either writing email or on web page?? And why does mailbox icon sometime not appear. Was told would have music options on options menu bar....where are they?????
WWWebTV: Will also post this in the "On-Line-Forum".

There is room for improvement as far as chat groups go on the internet.

Re Q3: My heaviest use of WebTV e-mail includes communicating with my office, reading my office e-mail (through HotMail), and sending URL attachments to my office e-mail address so that I can download and/or print web site info when I return to work.

Tips:
1. I would like to propose a national Webtv users convention in Chicago. Let's start one ASAP. Tell me where to announce and maybe they will come?

2. Put a portable cd player audio outputs to the inputs of the vcr for good listening.( your VCR is assumed to be connected to the TV and is Sterio Hi-FI).

3. Buy a Keyboard from Best Buy for $9.99. it's cheaper, but has a wire. So buy an extension to the keyboard cable. The F keys do the same thing as the wireless Webtv keyboard.

4. Don't power it off when you know you will be back later in the day. Instead go to options, and disconnect. It remembers where you were while freeing up the pone line.

5. Start e-mailing to people, before you know it you have lots of mail and new friends and are learning a lot. Pick people with things of common interest.

6. Remember to bring Webtv to friends and families home to show them. It's portable and remembers your saved /favorites/ mail/ name/etc

7. Go to bed earlier!

Re Q4: I am now getting between 4-5 hours of sleep a night, most times less than that... I have become a trivia quiz addict. Most times I am up waiting for servers in different time zones to kick in the day's questions, and I find myself up at 2 and 3 in the morning, and then I have to get up at 7. I don't know how long I can endure this, but will keep up until I can...and if and when we get RealAudio3.0, I'll probably be awake even longer listening to the different radio stations on the net...Do I need a life???

Tip: Webbers getting hugh toll bills because they do not have local access number should look into obtaining land line from local phone company from a city that has webtv access number. I have seen figures of from 400-700 in some of the chat rooms, a private line would be from 50-100 depending on the distance.

I am familiar with both terminals--I have the PM one at my Mother's houe, and take my Sony with me on business (I'm always on the road).

Tip: For some strange reason, my Sony keyboard works better than the PM. I know they look exactly the same, but the keys respond better.
