Comments: About my post here on 6/8/97 about Webtv adds Crypto
for Transactions Got a responce from webtv, It will
be FREE and no date is set. They even contacted
CNET.com about the article. Because if you go to it
now, It has been changed to say free up-grade and no
mention of date! Maybe I jumped the gun, when i
posted this. But when I read it and they mentioned
PRICEING for security option I was worried we would
have to pay for this!

Comments: Ever since Billy-boy Gates and crew have sleazed in,
the ads are seeping their way into OUR e-mail boxes!
Has everyone notice that? Never once had I receieved
a random solicitation that way, until THEY took over.
That kind of tactic will continue to intensify as
time passes I can assure you, and believe this to be
only the beginning of what Perlman and Gates had in
mind for the future of WebTV all along.

Comments: I have done the test as you suggested, and I have had
EXACTLY the VERY same problem as you had. I noticed
this problem occuring for some time. It DOES matter
to me - WebTV should make it a number 1 priority for
the convenience and comfort of Thier customers!

Comments: According to the news article, Webtv adds Crypto for
Tranactions It sounds like we have to pay for this
option. It mentions PRICING for the Security Socket
Layer (SSL) option will be announced on 6/16/97. And
an announcement will be made on monday 6/9/97. So it
sound like up-grade will be on the 16th.I hope this
is a misprint, I thought all our up-grades were FREE!
I posted on webtv users about this and so far got no
responce! Also if you look at other posting about
webtv being like cable operaters, and charging for
different services they never gave any comment what
so ever on this issue! See article at:

multi-engine searches that get you there faster and
better. Metafind is great.
