Mig-21 is one of the most famous planes of the
jet era. A big number of MiG-21'th has served in Egypt, Syria and other
Arab countries. The first MiG-21 was downed at July 14, 1966 by 101'th
squadron's pilot Y.Agmon. The IAF pilots managed to score more than 240
air-to-air victories against MiG-21'th.
In 1966 the Iraqi defector on MiG-21 figter
landed in Israel. Now this fighter is on display in IAF Museum.
